On Thursday, February 22nd, the Eckental refugee initiative invited people to the concert “Music in the soul, hope in the heart”:
Pianist Alexey Petik from Ukraine and cellist Anna Skladannaya from Russia played pieces by Chopin, Dvorak, Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Gershwin, Debussy and John Lennon, among others, in the auditorium of the Eckental high school. A special highlight: Anna Skladannaya performed her self-composed piece “La Commisération”. The two artists are already well-known and highly valued in Eckental.
